The first student intake for the new MSc programmes in Management and Banking & Finance at the International Hellenic University took place on Saturday 17th January.
The students attended the registration and induction day at the University, where Prof. Costas Grammenos, Chairman of IHU's Governing Board, welcomed the new students to the International Hellenic University. The Head of the School of Economics and Business Administration followed with his welcome and with an introduction to what it means to study at the International Hellenic University. The students then had the opportunity to get acquainted with the members of staff and to introduce themselves through the induction activities organized for that purpose.
The success so far of IHU's endeavour to establish itself as a destination for students from the wider region of Southeast Europe is evident in both the high standard of the successful candidates and their diverse international background. Τhe intake includes students from Albania, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Germany, Moldova, Romania, Serbia and of course Greece.
The second Executive MBA programme starts at the end of the month, with comparable success in terms of the high standards of successful candidates and a good range of countries of origin [Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Greece].
The University is currently planning its first programmes of study in the School of Technology and in the School of Humanities.
