Two Cass academics who teach at the IHU clinch place among world’s top 40 professors under 40

Two Cass academics, both of whom teach at the IHU School of Economics and Business Administration, have been ranked among the world's top 40 business school professors under the age of 40. Lucio Sarno, Professor of Finance, and Vangelis Souitaris, Professor of Entrepreneurship, both appear on a list of rising stars published by online business education magazine, PoetsandQuants.com.

The list was compiled from nominations submitted by business schools throughout the world. The top 40 professors were selected on the basis of a number of criteria, including research and teaching quality and the impact they have had on their respective academic fields, such as finance, economics, marketing and entrepreneurship.

Professor Sarno was noted in the rankings for having already published more than 60 articles in top economics and finance journals. He was joined in the finance field by renowned academics Lubos Pastor of Chicago Booth School and Stijn Van Nieuwerburgh from New York University's Stern School.

Professor Souitaris was selected in the top 40 for his research and teaching contribution to the field of entrepreneurship. He appeared alongside acclaimed academics Michael Lenox from Virginia's Darden School and Adam Grant from The Wharton School.
