Mario Levis is Emeritus Professor of Finance at Cass Business School, City University. He is internationally known for his academic and professional work on IPOs, private equity, small companies' performance and equity trading strategies. He has published extensively in these areas in leading academic journals. His work has attracted national press coverage in the UK and numerous academic citations. He teaches corporate finance and asset management on various postgraduate and executive programmes.
Professor Levis has worked as a consultant on corporate finance and privatisation issues and has advised a number of leading fund management firms on the formulation of equity trading strategies and portfolio performance attribution.
He has served as President of the European Financial Management Association and he is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Banking and Finance, European Financial Management and Omega.
