Delis, Agelos

 

Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship at Aston Business School, Birmingham

 

Agelos has a PhD in Economics (2008) from the University of Leicester, an MSc in International Economics (2001) from the University of Birmingham and a BSc in Economics from the University of Macedonia (2000).

He is since 2011 a Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship at Aston Business School, Birmingham. From 2009 to 2011 he was a visiting Lecturer in Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Cyprus and prior to that was for two and a half year a Research Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for Research on Globalisation and Economic Policy (GEP), University of Nottingham.

His research interests are on International Trade, International Economics and Environmental Economics both from an empirical and theoretical angle. He has published articles related to the relationship between globalisation and wage inequality and also about re-shoring.

He has contributed to policy related issues to online media like The Conversation and has recently co-authored a report on “Assessing Business Performance in Climate Innovation Clusters” for Climate-KIC.
